Notice : Use of a Consultation Transcription Tool

To support accurate clinical documentation and allow your GP to focus more fully on your consultation, your doctor may use a secure hands-free transcription tool during your appointment.

This tool is intended to support accurate clinical notetaking and allow the GP to focus more fully on you during your appointment.

Patient confidentiality and privacy remain our highest priority. Any information processed through the transcription tool is handled in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). No audio recordings are stored or retained, and all information is managed securely in line with NHS information governance requirements.

If you have any questions or would prefer that this tool is not used during your consultation, please inform our reception team when booking your appointment or speak to your GP at the start of your consultation. Your care will not be affected by your decision.
